Founded in 2018 by sisters who spent their childhood in Pakistan, Myne London has built an ethical, sustainable, and responsible supply chain for emeralds out of the Swat Valley. The business supplies designer brands through their B2B service and works directly with customers looking for traceable emeralds.
I worked with the founders to help them craft the story of their brand, advising on positioning, company structure, and evaluating current marketing practices. The project shown below is just one practical example of the work that I carried out for the brand.
The client had invested considerably in ensuring that the business had a robust and unimpeachable supply chain. This resulted in an in-depth, technical sustainability report covering detailed analysis of environmental, social, and governance factors. The client felt that the results of the report needed to be communicated to their clients.
Having worked with the brand for a number of months, and with a good sense of their needs, I suggested creating an infographic which would showcase the report in an easy-to-read and digestable format.
The report itself was 40-pages long. It was technical in nature and required a keen eye to pull out the headlines that would capture the audience in a short-form format. I worked with the client to understand the goal of the infographic, the audience, and the timescale. I extracted the revelant facts and figures and created a draft document to be shared with the creative designer who worked with the guidelines provided.
My skill: taking a complex topic and packaging it for a specific audience.
I created a user-friendly infographic that showcases the mine-to-market journey that the client has taken. The infographic was delivered within the specified timeframe. It is available on the client website and shared with B2B clients. Feedback has been positive and it has acted as a springboard for other items of content.
