About Me

With over 14 years’ experience and more marketing qualifications than you can shake a stick at (take a look below at some of the courses I’ve completed), I consider myself to be a seasoned, no-nonsense marketer with a good sense of what works, and what doesn’t. I combine common sense with strategy and have a strong track record when it comes to managing teams, budgets, and deadlines on a global scale.

Why hire me?

Trained Brand Manager
In 2021, I completed a Mini MBA in Brand Management with Prof. Mark Ritson. What does that mean? It means that I have unrivalled insight into how brands work and what it takes to be the custodian of a brand. It means that I understand the concepts of distinctive brand assets, brand tracking, and perceptual mapping. It means that you can trust me with your brand.

MSc in Marketing
Back in 2007, I was awarded an MSc in International Fashion Marketing. It seems like a long time ago, and it was. Although technology progresses and trends come and go, the fundamentals of marketing don't change.
Squared Online Alumni
Recognising a need for formal digital marketing training, in 2017 I enrolled in the Squared Online Digital Marketing and Leadership course developed by Google and run by Avado. On this course I solidified my knowledge of the digital landscape, customer journeys and touchpoints. The biggest lessons came from working remotely in teams with complete strangers and receiving anonymous feedback on what I'm like to work with.

I Love to Learn...
Being an up-to-date marketer is like running on a treadmill that never stops. I've taken additional courses with General Assembly on Mastering Google Ads and Mobile Video (Produce Content like a Pro). I've studied Inbound Marketing with HubSpot Academy, Google Analytics with The Coloring In Department, and right now I'm learning Salesforce and have recently become a Trailhead Adventurer. Alongside courses I listen to podcasts (Everyone Hates Marketers/Let's talk Branding), read marketing books (currently How Brands Grow), and keep up-to-date with articles from some of my marketing hereos (Bob Hoffman/Mark Ritson).
